I bought this dress for my sisters wedding and was disappointed. The color in the picture looks like a luminous gold to me but in fact it is what I would call a "dirty" gold...very dark in shade. Secondly there is a really distracting pouch that forms where the zipper ends and your derriere begins which was even more noticeable on me because I am not very curvy in that area. Lastly, I am 5'4'' and consider my height average. I tried on the dress with 4 inch heels and discovered it would still need to be hemmed. However if you are going to order this dress despite my comments and you are shorter than me then you need to order it off the Badgley Mischka website or Nordstroms which last I checked carries the same dress in Pettitte sizes and at least save yourself a trip to the tailor.Oh my god. This model doesn't even do the dress justice. It fits perfectly and sparkles like the stars. I love it so much. I was worried I would have to order up a size, but I am a size 8 and ordered an eight and it worked marvelously. Fits like a glove. The shoulders do not fall down, and you do not need a bra in it (totally braless in my photo), but if you wanted to, you could add one in. Might have it hemmed up a few inches because I am very short, but other than that it is beyond perfect and worth the money.Dress quality was good. The dress was lightweight and the color was pretty; however, the fit was not good. The dress was too long, which I expected, but the top was extremely big notwithstanding that I have big boobs and the overall fit was intensely unflattering. I returned it.Perfect fit and darker gold looks very good on my skin tone.Fabulously made dress. Fully lined and had a built in long line bra. Just a beautiful dress. Unfortunately, my dress arrived without hanger (unusual for this brand) and without tags. There was small fine pet hairs (cat maybe) stuck to the dress along with medium length blonde human hairs.This was not acceptable for a new dress at this price point, so I returned the dress. If I would have had time to have the dress cleaned before my event I may have kept it. I otherwise loved everything about it.
